Who Am I Today?

Some days you feel ready, other days you realize you have absolutely no clue what's about to happen.

Peace,

  1. I once was sitting in worship with a friend of mine - who happens to be one of the most devout people I know. When it came time for the corporate Affirmation of Faith, we all stood together and recited the Apostle's Creed,

"I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and Earth..."

After the worship service, my friend looked over to me and said, "Sometimes I can't say those words - but I believe that is why we all say them together - because sometimes I need everyone else to say them for me. Sometimes I need the community to carry me through."

So, if today is one of those days when you seem to have realized that you have absolutely no clue what's about to happen, let me say, "It will be alright. No...it will be GOOD. You have been, and will continue to be, blessed with all of the things that you need."

Somedays, you just need someone else to say it for you.

    Congrats.
